CollectiV is honored to have partnered with ASU on master planning the future Physical Sciences Facility outdoor classroom and plaza along Tyler Mall. During our current time, we are more focused than ever on the importance of outdoor environments for learning, relaxing and engaging. To embrace this, the design includes a large 50’ x 75’ shade pavilion that will host geological sales, accommodate lecture size gatherings, special outdoor events, and day to day student interactions. The environment also contains sunken seating, water harvesting, and opportunities to engage with and learn about the earth’s physical strata in a signature sediment wall showcasing Arizona’s geological diversity and history.
